Target Audience


I conducted a survey to find out some information on my target audience; I wanted to find out what they would like to read within my magazine. I wanted to find out how often they listened to music, how they spend their money on music and what magazines would they buy or subscribe to.

This is what my questionnaire looks like:


The strengths with the way that I have chosen to do my questionnaire is that the name box has been left out, this is because then the questionnaire is anonymous. Another strength is that the use of a questionnaire over the internet is that you can use the internet all over the world; this allows me to get information from different places across the world which gives me an insight into the interests of the people on the other side of the world.



I have a few weaknesses with my questionnaire; one of these could be that my questionnaire could have only just been spread across my friends on social network Medias. This means that there isn’t a wide enough spread of people reading and answering the questionnaire. Another weakness is that I could have hand-picked some people to complete the survey, this would have allowed me to have slightly different results and a slightly wider variety of answers.
