The rolling stones magazine has quoted Jimmy Hendrix as a
‘legend’, this is to invite people to buy their magazine. Whereas Mojo magazine
has not quoted anything for the star on their magazine.
Rolling stones has got a stylish title in white font to
stand out from the background, but Jimi is behind the title which means the
title has more importance over him. However, Mojo has also got a big white
title but it is different to Rolling stones because their musical artist is
standing in-front of the sign which indicates that he has more importance over
the title of the magazine.
Rolling stones magazine has got a brief insight into Jimi
Hendrix, this is by saying ‘In 1966, he arrived in London unknown. A week
later, he was a superstar’. This means that there is a little to read into to
find out what Jimi did before coming to fame. Whereas Mojo hasn’t given a
background into their chosen music artist.
